Within the span of 10 days, the president vowed to see 100 million stimulus payments distributed as well as 100 million vaccine doses administered since his taking office in January.
His administration’s “Help is here” tour is mean to highlight the benefits of his $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package, while also amplifying his administration’s leadership on the nation’s vaccination programme.

Biden to join road tour to promote Covid-19 rescue plan
President Joe Biden is expected to join a country-wide tour to promote his $1.9 trillion Covid-19 rescue package today.
The US leader is set to visit a small business in Philadelphia as his first stop outside Washington for the “Help is here” tour, which kicked off on Monday.
Vice President Kamala Harris has already visited a Covid-19 vaccination site, as well as a culinary academy in Las Vegas, with first lady Jill Biden stopping at an elementary school in New Jersey.
Mr Biden signed the rescue plan into law last week, with his administration’s road tour aimed at promoting the benefits of the package. “Hope is here in real and tangible ways,” Mr Biden said at the White House on Monday.
As his government continued to drive its vaccination programme, he said his administration was delivering on “shots in arms and money in pockets”.
“That’s important. The American Rescue Plan is already doing what it was designed to do: make a difference in people’s everyday lives. We’re just getting started,” he said.
