Political commentator Helen Dale has said cracks are beginning to show in the SNP amid rows over hate speech and the transgender debate.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, she said: “They’ve been in power for too long and governments get tired when they’ve been in power for that long.
“The internal conflicts; the hate speech legislation and the transgender issue are slowly starting to tear them apart.”
Ms Dale also defended the SNP MP Joanna Cherry after she was sacked from the party’s frontbench in a reshuffle.
“She is extremely gifted compared to someone like Ian Blackford, who is just a bumptious loser,” she said.
