Peter Hitchens: 'BBC and the government have created a panic-demic'

Columnist Peter Hitchens says the BBC and the government have created a “panic-demic” – that people would not have noticed – by the “constant use of horror statistics.”

Mr Hitchens says told Mike Graham on talkRADIO that in many of his discussions with lockdown supporters “they assume that I am stupid and malevolent”, he went on to criticise the “rage” directed at people who had “opposed lockdown from the start.”

He added that he was “all in favour of data if people if people look for it in a properly impartial and balanced fashion.”
