Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly emerged as a surprise target for Fulham as they seek to bolster their options in the centre of the park.
The west London outfit spent around £100m during the summer transfer window but they still find themselves bottom of the standings after six straight league defeats.
Owing to this, the Cottagers are likely to spend further when the transfer window reopens and Calciomercato suggests that they could seek to lure Bakayoko across London in two months’ time.
Bakayoko was deemed surplus to requirements upon the arrival of Maurizio Sarri during the summer and he was loaned out to AC Milan on a season-long loan with the option to buy.
He has since been pretty average in terms of his performances on the playing field and reports indicate that the Rossoneri may consider terminating his contract, should he fail to prove his worth by the New Year.
