Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Janette Manrara cries on It Takes Two after exit | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The pair appeared on Strictly Come Dancing sister show It Takes Two today where Janette was overcome with emotion.

Zoe Ball showed the duo a montage of their time together on the BBC programme which reduced Janette to tears once it was over.

“Feel the love!” Zoe exclaimed.

“She’s gone, she has gone,” she continued as Janette grabbed a tissue to dab her eyes with.

Dr Ranj had nothing but praise to heap upon his dance partner.

Zoe asked Ranj what the best thing about his time on the competition was, and he said it was in fact Janette.

“It is meeting Janette, it really is. I’ve been so lucky to dance with this incredible lady,” he gushed.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.”

Dr Ranj also said who he would like to win.

He told Zoe: “Anyone. We’ve all become really good friends, it would be a pleasure to see anyone of them win.”

Dr Ranj became the sixth person to be voted off the competition when he lost in a dance off to Charles Venn.

All the judges bar Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Charles and Karen Clifton.

Dr Ranj said of his time on the show: “I can’t express how much this has meant to me. I have made friends for life.

“I’ve done something that I only could have dreamed of.

“I just want to say to anyone who ever dreams of this you can, you really can, ’cause I’m here and I’ve done it.”

Meanwhile, Janette lauded Dr Ranj for his efforts and described him as a “special man”.

She gushed: “I just want to say he is an incredible human being for what he does as an actual job. He is there saving children’s lives and he is a special, special man.

“On this show you get to celebrate people that have never done something like this before and for me Ranj is the epitome about what Strictly Come Dancing is about.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better friend, a better partner or better series I love you so so much. Thank you.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One.
